- • Emasculation is the process of removal of the anthers of a bisexual flower in order to prevent self -pollination of neighbouring plants.
- • It is just a step of artificial hybridisation.
- • Sterilise your fingers as well as all equipment with absolute alcohol.
Bagging and protection of

- • After emasculation unwanted flowers are removed from twig.
- • the emasculated flower is covered with bag. It protect it from unwanted agencies e.g. insect,pollen,dew etc.
- • Bag is tied to stem with the help of thread.
- • A small hole is made in the lower surface of bag for respiration.

Label of hard paper is tagged with the help of thread in such a flowers
in which hybridisation is done.

Precaution
